Our instructors have a combined have a combined four decades of acting experience starring on television series and in major motion pictures.
Hallie Todd [IMDb] is best known to television viewers for her role as Jo McGuire on Disney's hit series Lizzie McGuire and The Lizzie McGuire Movie. She was named one of The Ten Best TV Moms by CNN Entertainment (2010). Her first break came in Showtime's groundbreaking comedy series Brothers, for which she earned two Cable ACE nominations for Best Actress in a Comedy Series for her portrayal of Penny Waters. In addition to her film and six series regular roles, she has guest-starred on several television shows, from Star Trek: The Next Generation to Malcolm in the Middle. Born in Los Angeles, Hallie Todd is the daughter of actress Ann Guilbert (The Dick Van Dyke Show; The Nanny) and producer/writer George Eckstein (The Fugitive, The Untouchables, Duel). Hallie Todd Studios was founded in 1998 (as In House Media, Inc). Her studio and classes have gained national recognition, and have been featured on ABC Primetime, in the Los Angeles Times and the New York Times Sunday Magazine. Todd has authored two books for young actors and their parents - Being Young Actors and Parenting The Young Actor.

Director Glenn Withrow [IMDb] began his career as an actor, starring and co-starring in over 30 movies and television series. He has worked with some of the world’s most renowned cinematographers (Robert Richardson, William A. Fraker, Stephen H. Burum) and directors (Francis Ford Coppola, Tony Scott). Withrow was fortunate to have worked with director Francis Ford Coppola five times (The Outsiders, Rumble Fish, Peggy Sue Got Married, The Cotton Club & Faerie Tale Theatre 'Rip Van Winkle'), and his experiences working with Coppola inspired him to become an independent filmmaker. Withrow attended film school and then built his own production studio, In House Media, Inc. He became a member of The Writer’s Guild of America (WGA) after selling his first script to Disney. He has worked as an independent writer, producer, photographer, cinematographer and feature film director. He recently directed, wrote and
executive produced the full-length feature film,
