Hallie Todd Studios works in partnership with In House Media Film Partners, assisting them in casting their films with actors of all ages. Recently eleven students from Hallie Todd Studios starred in the In House Media Film Partners feature film The Mooring. The film is scheduled for a 2012 release. In House Media Film Partners is dedicated to working with Hallie Todd Studios to find actors for two upcoming films, currently in pre-production:

SPRING SESSION
8-Week Camera
Class On-Camera Technique Weeks 1 & 2: Everyone will be on his or feet working. The focus will be on scene analysis and character break-downs. Weeks 3 – 5: These 3 weeks are dedicated to blocking and shooting the scenes on real sets. We’ll do masters, medium and close shots of each scene. You will learn to match your movements and gestures and keep them consistent as you repeat your performances in the different set-ups. (Learning to train yourself to do this, through practice, will make your future editors love you! You’ll make them look good because your actions will match which allows the scene to have a seamless flow.) We will always review the basics of acting, the emotional work, so as you are honing your camera technique, you are still keeping your work honest and full. Weeks 6 & 7: These two weeks will be spent in our post facility. In ADR sessions with professional sound engineers, we will be using Pro-tools and playing it back over our JBL 5.1 sound system, students will continue to work on their scenes from a post-production perspective, learning how to sync the dialogue, and match their performances.
